Idaho State ranked in Top 25

POCATELLO, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) For the first time since 2015, the Idaho State Bengal Football team is in the national rankings.

ISU is ranked No. 24 in the STATS Media Poll and No. 25 in the FCS Coaches Poll.

This comes after its 48-45 win at Portland State.

"Idaho State football has demonstrated the University's commitment to excellence that is starting to permeate through our entire community," Idaho State University President Kevin Satterlee said. "We belong in the Top 25."

Idaho State started the 2015 season ranked No. 22 and 24 in the media and coaches poll. The Bengals stayed in the national rankings for the following week before falling out of the polls.

Idaho State is 6-3 overall and 5-1 in the Big Sky Conference.

The Bengals play at Cal Poly on Saturday, Nov. 10. Kickoff is at 5 p.m. MT.
