Jerome Girls Basketball gets first win of the season; hoops roundup

FILER, Idaho ( KMVT / KSVT ) Jerome visited Filer Friday night. The Lady Wildcats look to move to 2-0 on the season.

Mercedes Bell gets the first bucket of the night on this three pointer for Jerome.

Wildcats down 7-0, try to cut into the deficit, as Colbie Kliegl connects with Jaylee Bingham. She drains the three pointer, that was the theme of the first quarter

Again Bell unleashes one for the Tigers, fouled in the process and that sets up the four point play. She had a game-high 18 points.

But instead of four points, Jerome gets five as Kailey Harrison picks up the rebound and goes right back up. Jerome prevails 55-40 and grabs its first win of the year.


Snake River 53, Buhl 34: Emily Gorrell led the Indians with 14 points, while Kyra Azevedo added 12 in the loss.

Dietrich 67, Gooding 55: Mattigan Bingham scored a team-high 19 points and Quincy Christensen added 17.

Hagerman 53, Wendell 36: Alaina Floyd had 19 points in the win.
