No. 13 CSI avenges loss to No. 15 Indian Hills

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) Sophomore Malik Porter led CSI in ever statistical category with 19 points, 19 rebounds, five blocks and three assists as the No. 13 Golden Eagles fended off No. 15 Indian Hills, 75-69.

The CSI defense looked sharp early on, forcing the Warriors to turn it over in their first two possessions. They held the Warriors to 17 percent from long range and 35 percent from the field.

The Golden Eagles led 40-27 at halftime.

A major key to the win for CSI was taking advantage of rebounds, they pulled down 26 on offense.

Other CSI players scoring in double figures included Roberto Gittens (12), N'Keil Nelson (12), Jaxon Edelmayer (10) and Coreyoun Rushin (10).
