CSI started knocking down three's early on. Roberto Gittens had six in the game, to finish with a game-high 28 points.
Khalid Thomas who started Saturday evening, was money, going five of seven, including this one from NBA range. The Texas Tech signee with 16 points.
CSI shot 42.4% from three-point range and 51.3% from the floor.
The Spartans hung around early with the Golden Eagles on second chance opportunities, pulling down 17 offensive rebounds.
But once CSI got into high gear, there was no one stopping the big men.
Coreyoun Rushin and Brayden Parker combined for 40 points and 19 rebounds and CSI had no problem with Colorado, taking this one, 109-81.
The Golden Eagles host the Badgers next Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
