No. 3 Minico stuns No. 1 Twin Falls after second half comeback

RUPERT, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) Twin Falls' Faust Ystueta gave the Bruins an 8-2 lead after two made three pointers and fouled on three point attempts.

Twin Falls led by as many as 12 points in the first quarter and 10 in the third. Then Minico chipped away at that lead.

A buzzer-beating 3/4 shot at the end of the third quarter put the Spartans within six points of the Bruins. Twin Falls only scored nine points in the fourth quarter, compared to the Spartans' 16.

No. 1 Twin Falls let a lead slip away late in the second half as No. 3 Minico edged out its Great Basin Ten counterpart, 60-59.

Leading the Spartans, Rylan Chandler with 13, Jacob Durrant and Kasen Carpenter had 12, while Abe Guzman and Kobe Matsen scored eight.

Mitchell Brizee posted a game-high 19 points for the Bruins.
