No. 9 CSI Men's Basketball takes on No. 4 Salt Lake Thursday

TWIN FALLS, Idaho ( KMVT / KSVT ) The CSI Men's Basketball team had a difficult time with Snow College, but unlike the women, they pulled out win.

It did come down to the wire though, as Jake Hendricks drained a game-winning three pointer, his only three of the game.

The Golden Eagles are very deep this year and five different players have led the team in scoring, including Roberto Gibbens who posted a team-high 16 points Saturday.

The ninth-ranked Golden Eagles left Wednesday for Utah and a battle with fourth-ranked Salt Lake.

First place is on the line Thursday night at 7:30 pm.

CSI is averaging 105 points per game, tops in the conference, while salt lake is scoring 92, which is third.

While they are notorious for scoring, the Golden Eagles rank last in the league in scoring defense.
