Oakley Girls Basketball improves to 18-0

HAGERMAN, Idaho ( KMVT / KSVT ) The second-ranked Hornets have yet to lose a game. The only 1A Division I team in the state to boast this type of accolade in girls basketball.

The Hornets traveled to Hagerman Saturday night for a conference game.

Oakley held the Pirates to a scoreless first quarter, but they get on the board when Alana Floyd goes hard off the board, it's an eight point game.

No one could stop Makinlee Cranney, she had a game-high 16 points.

Oakley cruises to the 42-20 win, improving to an impressive 18-0 record.


Canyon Ridge 46, Buhl 38: Caitlin Crist led the Riverhawks with 29 points.

Dietrich 47, Glenns Ferry 35: Quincy Christiansen posted 12 points for the Blue Devils.

Kimberly 51, Snake River 49: Gage Burnham, Trey Garey and Taylor Holcomb all scored nine for the Bulldogs in the upset.
