Oakley, Shoshone to battle for the Snake River District crown

MURTAUGH, Idaho ( KMVT / KSVT ) No. 4 Shoshone had a first-round bye in the Snake River District Tournament. The Lady Indians taking on Hagerman in the semi-finals.

The Lady Indians dominated from the start, then in the second quarter, they showcased their three point abilities, specifically Megan Koonce and Patti Fitzgerald.

Those threes proved to be daggers as Shoshone took a 22-3 lead so far, but Fitzgerald wasn't done as she gets another here.

The deficit now sits at 25 points.

This one all Indians, 50-18. They play Oakley February 6 for the district championship at CSI, tip-off slated for 7:30.

Wood River 54, Canyon Ridge 54: The Riverhawks are eliminated from contention.


Kimberly 46, Declo 36: Trey Garey led the Bulldogs with 14 points. Schroeder had eight for the Hornets.
