Oakley is headed back to the state semi-finals

OAKLEY, Idaho ( KMVT / KSVT ) Last fall, Oakley drove eight hours to head up state with the intention of knocking off the Lapwai Wildcats. They won 38-34 in the Kibbie Dome.

Now it's the Wildcats turn to make their way down to south central Idaho.

Oakley led 36-0 at halftime and never looked back, winning easily 56-12.

Sam Mitton produced 162 yards on 15 carries and a touchdown, while Austin Bedke recorded 127 yards on 14 carries and one touchdown.

The Hornets will travel to the Kibbie Dome next week for a battle with Prairie. The Pirates easily defeated Wilder, 54-6.
