Oakley with a long drive home after falling to Prairie in the semi-finals

MOSCOW, Idaho (KLEW) In the 1AD1 playoffs, Oakley drove more than 400 miles to the Kibbie Dome, taking on Prairie in the state semi-final.

This game would decide who is going to the state championship next week.

Hornets get the first big play, and on a fumble recovery Oakley would return it to about the Pirate 10. But the Pirates keep them out of the end zone. Score is 0-0.

Next drive though, Jacob Stubbers gets to the outside and he breaks off a 61 yard run. That set up a pirates score. With the two-point conversion, Pirates up 8-0.

The final for this game would be 42 to 36 Pirates and they're going to face Genesee for the state trophy.
