BURLEY, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Residents in Burley were able to enjoy food, music and the nice weather as part of a new concert series called Rockin' the Snake.
The event featured food from local businesses, a mechanical bull, and live music from groups coming from places such as Idaho Falls and the Magic Valley, with Foghat being the main event.
This was the first time an event like this has happened, and the organizer said that the Rivers Edge Golf Club was the perfect place to have it.
"We're really excited about how things are going to go here, you know, in Burley,” said organizer C.R. Larsen. “It's a beautiful city, beautiful venue. You can't see behind us, but the river is back there, it's absolutely amazing."
While this was the only concert that they are doing this summer, they hope to have more in the future. They do have a Fry Fest coming up in August.
