Three CSI runners sign letters of intent

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) Three College of Southern Idaho runners are making their future plans known.

Sophomores Chase Barrow and Clayton VanDyke are taking their talents to Lewis Clark State College. While Hunter May, a freshman, is leaving Twin Falls for Southern Virginia University to reunite with his high school coach.

All three have achieved All-American status at some point in their careers at CSI; plus, they qualified for for the NJCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships last weekend

Chase Barrow said, "I'm excited most of all to continue running with one of the guys I met and have such a deep connection with."

VanDyke exclaimed, "one thing that I really liked is the area, it's still in the west, up in the Washington and Oregon area." "And the coaches are really good. I really enjoyed talking to them, overall the team does really well nationally."

May said, "it was a really hard decision to leave CSI." "I loved it here, if it was a four year I would have stayed in a heartbeat."

"We're going to move on the majority of our sophomores to big schools and all of them I feel confident are going to be a really good fit for their programs and keep getting better and do well," head coach Lindsey Anderson explained.
