Preston Meyerhoeffer, Steve's son said, "I definitely saw it coming."

After his son Preston and nephews Brandon Stotts and Drew Meyerhoeffer graduate this month.

Preston added, "having two of my better friends golfing with me, we grew up golfing, it was kind of in our blood, it was fun way to stay together."

With 16 titles, Bruins Boys Golf has the most state championships of any sport at Twin Falls High School.

The senior Bruin said, "beating Bishop Kelly is an awesome feeling, that's who we plan on beating every year."

Meyerhoeffer won championships in 2015 and 16, but this one was the most special.

"My dad's last year coaching, our last year golfing. The fact we won by one stroke put the icing on the cake," Preston added.

The boys will attend Boise State University together.

"I'm sure we'll do intramural golf and see where that goes."
