Twin Falls advances to meet Minico; local scores

TWIN FALLS, Idaho ( KMVT / KSVT ) Only one team has booked a ticket to state, the Burley Bobcats. The ladies of green edged out Minico on Saturday.

Now only four teams remain, we take you to Twin Falls for a loser-out game between the Bruins and Tigers.

The Lady Bruins leading by 15 halfway through the third. Kylie Baumert drains the three, she had 11 points in the game.

Jerome struggling to score, staying with Twin, after a few offensive rebounds, senior Morgan Harr ends up with the ball and she steps into three-point range, one of her three three's on the night, she had a game-high 18 points. The Tigers only scored two points in the entire third quarter.

Tiffani Warren drives to the hoop, she's fouled but makes both of her free throws. Jerome just couldn't keep up and Twin Falls eliminates the Tigers, 53-35. Hill led the Tigers with 13 points.

The Bruins go to Minico Tuesday for a game at seven. Burley plays the winner Thursday for the district championship.


Go Filer go, the Lady Wildcats coming off a winless season, have advanced to the district title game, after knocking off Gooding Monday night, 57-53. Buhl takes on Filer Wednesday at CSI, tip-off slated for seven. If the Lady Indians lose, they play again on Thursday, at Buhl.

And finally in 2A action, Declo easily advances to the state play-in game after beating Wendell, 58-35. The Lady Hornets take on the third seed from District III on Saturday at Mountain Home High School starting at one.
