Twin Falls native finishes 12th in first Olympic event

RIO DE JANEIRO (KMVT/KSVT) Twin Falls' own Olympian Will Brown was one of the first athletes to compete in the 2016 games Saturday morning.

Brown – representing America as a member of its shooting team missed the finals in his first event – the 10-meter air pistol.

Brown missed the cut by just three points, shooting 577 out of 600.

He placed 12th overall – top 8 shooters compete in finals.
Brown's journey isn't over yet - he'll compete in the 50-meter free pistol Wednesday morning.
