TWIN FALLS, Idaho ( KMVT / KSVT ) A pair of Twin Falls Soccer standouts signed their National Letters of Intent on Signing Day.
Alexa Rierson and Madi Glascock will continue their athletic careers at the College of Idaho.
Glascock will actually compete in both soccer and track, she's quite the speedster and a state champion in the 4 X 200 and 4 X 400.
Most of their high school coaches spoke on behalf of the girls Wednesday. Both are stellar students and know that C of I is the right fit for them.
Rierson just earned Great Basin Conference Player of the Year honors, after transferring from Bonneville sophomore year. Rierson and Glasscock helped the Bruins to the consolation championship at state last fall.
Glasscock said, "I will miss most my teammates because not all of them are going onto to play. But I'm happy I get to play with Lexi. I have had the best coaches and best teachers and the best mentors. I'm excited to play at the next level."
Rierson exclaimed, "I got to know Madi really well. It's nice having her there to play with me, she pushes me to be such a better player. So I'm excited to move that to the next level."
This past season, the Yotes advanced to the semi-final of the conference tournament.
