It’s that time of year again. South Central Community Action Partnership will be holding its annual 60 Hours to Fight Hunger Turkey Drive at Robb Green Buick GMC in Twin Falls.
As September comes to a close and we begin to approach the home stretch for the holiday season many area food banks are gearing up for the higher demand they typically see around this time of year.
Helping Hearts and Hands Food Pantry and Resource Center opened back in 2002, when the area churches of Gooding consolidated all their individual food banks into one centralized version.
Through the USDA Emergency Food Assistance Program, the South-Central Community Action Partnership is able to help people in South Central Idaho who are struggling to afford food.
