FedEx truck slides onto side when merging onto Interstate 84

A FedEx driver walked around after his truck slid off the side of the road Friday morning.
Idaho State Police told a KMVT reporter at the scene the truck slid onto the driver’s side just off the Interstate 84 westbound on ramp near the Highway 93 junction. The call came in just before 10 a.m.
ISP said Michael Lamkin, 56, of Jerome, was merging onto the intestate when he failed to maintain his lane, he overcorrected and rolled the vehicle on its side. The westbound on-ramp was shut down for about an hour and a half, according to a news release.
Jerome Rural Fire Department also responded. ISP is investigating the crash.
