World-record straw maze right in Rupert

By Brittany Cooper

RUPERT, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Over in Rupert, you can find a straw maze at Garden Cents, created by Bryan Jentzsch.

The designer says it took two weeks to design and three weeks to build. Plus, this maze soon will find international recognition. Jentzsch says it's the world's largest straw maze. The Guiness book of world records will be coming on October first to present the award.

Jentzsch says, "it's not your typical straw maze. You get your piles that go left and right. This one here is tunnels, bridges, 3–d maze which not only goes left and right, but up and down as well."

The cost of the maze is $10 for an all day pass. You can find the maze from noon to six Monday through Thursday and then noon to 10 Friday and Saturday.
