Two killed in head-on semi-truck accident on U.S. 93

ROGERSON, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — A crash involving two semi-trucks blocked both directions of U.S. 93 near mile marker 14, according to Idaho State Police.

ISP said a 33-year-old California man was driving a 2021 Freightliner semi-truck southbound on U.S. 93 when he crossed the center line and collided head-on with another Freightliner driven by a 60-year-old California man.

Both drivers died at the scene. The 60-year-old driver was wearing a seat belt.

Idaho State Police, the Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office, Twin Falls Paramedics, the Twin Falls Fire Department and the Idaho Transportation Department responded to the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
