Sunny skies for Wednesday before clouds and rain returns soon

Chief Meteorologist Avaionia Smith: October 28, 2026 — Good Evening and Happy Wednesday! We are halfway through the week and sunny skies return for now. Highs are in the mid to upper 50s over the next few days. Our next system arrives by late Thursday. Clouds will increase through Thursday bringing the chance for showers late night into early Friday. Rain and scattered snow showers will remain in the forecast into Sunday. The next cool down is expected next week with highs in the upper 40s and overnight lows in the low 30s. Don’t forget to dial your clocks back one hours as daylight saving ends on November 1st.
